Russian spacecraft lost control, about to fall to Earth

An unmanned spacecraft of Russia took control in space while performing freight task on the International Space Station (ISS) and will fall to Earth in the next few days.

Igor Komarov, head of Roskosmos Space Agency of Russia, said the engineers tried to regain control of the ship after it separated from the carrier rocket Soyuz 2.1, launched from the Baikonur Space Center in Kazakhstan today 28/4.

According to the  Telegraph , although can not resupply cargo for scientists on the ISS, Russian officials confirmed the incident did not endanger astronauts there.
"They have enough oxygen, fuel, food and drinking water on the station to continue to operate until resupply other ships. I spoke with the astronauts and their morale is very good," Alexander Sovolov, Officials in charge of Russia for ISS resupply said. "The trajectory took control of the ship turning too low, there is no risk of the ship will collide with the space station," he added.
